Colfer + other Glee members named 2011's top gay celebrities
AfterElton.com has released their 2011 Gay/Bi List of the top 50 gay celebrities, and Chris Colfer came in at #1:
1. Chris Colfer
Chris Colfer (born May 27, 1990 - age 20), plays gay teen Kurt Hummel on the FOX series Glee. He won a Golden Globe this year for his sensitive portrayal of the out and proud teen. Glee was Colfer's first television role ands he originally auditioned for part of wheelchair-bound Artie. Ryan Murphy was so impressed with Colfer that he created the role of Kurt specifically for him.
Other Glee personnel on the list are Neil Patrick Harris at #3, Jonathon Groff at #7, Cheyenne Jackson at #10, and Ryan Murphy at #19.
