Justin Timberlake Denies Glee The Use Of His Music

While most artists are dying to be incorporated into the hit FOX show Glee, Justin Timberlake is not one of them.

The SexyBack singer said "no" to the show's producers when they asked if his songs could be used in a future episode, according to Us. Ouch!

Glee producers reportedly took this as a "slap in the face," a source tells the mag.

I don't really understand why artists would deny Glee using their songs. Do they seriously think they are "above" typical pop culture? I mean, you're in the entertainment industry... any publicity is good publicity. Embrace the pop culture trends and work with them as much as possible. Being featured on Glee is a good thing.

Right? Not only is it a nod to your place in pop culture but think of the exposure, royalties, giving a potential new audience a listen to your music. It should be a compliment but I guess not everyone feels that way. :\

People are just picky, especially with their own material.

I believe the ones who have said now either 1. Don't know what the show is about or 2. They don't like it.

It's their choice, it's their music, they have the right.

I don't think we should "worry" about JT or anybody saying no (if this is true), MCR, Britney, Gaga, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Journey, MJ and more have said yes.
