Romy Rosemont won’t be slipping into any of the Lady Gaga costumes for tonight’s special tribute episode to the singer on Glee. After all, her character, Carole Hudson, hasn’t jumped into the deep end so far - though she’s psyched up for her upcoming storylines now that she’s hooked up with Burt Hummel (Mike O’Malley).
“I would love nothing more than to tell you that I was going to be dressed in a Lady Gaga outfit, but I don’t think Carole has gone that far, yet,” Rosemont tells HollywoodOutbreak.com.
Still, the actress was utterly seduced by the fashions and understood completely why Gaga digs her clothes.
“When you see the outfits, you’re going to be like, ‘Oh, I can imagine why she wanted to put that on,’ ” the actress promises.
There are plenty of perks that come with starring on a musical TV series and number one on that list for the actress is to work with Broadway’s brightest and best talent.
“You’ll see Idina Menzel (Wicked) and she comes face-to-face with Rachel (Lea Michele),” Rosemont begins adding, “If you think about it, there are not a lot of people in the middle of the country who will ever have the opportunity to go see Kristin Chenoweth on stage or Lea Michele or any of these guys. So, they get to tune in on Tuesday nights and watch them and they’re in their living room. I think it’s an incredible opportunity.”
