Resources Post!
Hey everyone!
What I would really like for this comm to do is to compile a list of helpful websites pertaining to gender studies, and issues in gender and sexuality. Basically, I'd like for us to make a big collection of resources for people writing fic about trans* characters, intersex characters, or characters trying to figure out their gender and/or sexuality. If you know of any good resources with information about transitioning, different intersex conditions, hormone therapies for intersex or trans* persons, websites to buy clothes for crossdressing, instructions on how to tuck or bind properly, post them down here. If you have any questions about something, like how old you have to be in a certain place to start HRT, or how long you have to be living as your chosen gender before a surgeon will consider HRT, or anything like that, ask here, and we will try and help each other out!
I'm kind of a huge research slut, and I have a black belt in google-fu, and I have a feeling there are other people here who like accuracy and realism as much as I do.
