Notes: This is just a little drabble/ficlet I wrote months ago involving always-a-boy Brittany. In case you were wondering, my casting for Brian Pierce is Alexander Ludwig.
Brian Stanley Pierce loved his life. He loved football in the fall and baseball in the spring. He loved glee club, dance classes, and being popular. He didn’t even mind it when he wasn’t popular, because popular or not, he’d still slept with more people at McKinley High than Noah Puckerman and Santana Lopez, and that was saying something.
He might not be the brightest crayon in the box, but he was usually pretty happy. He had a good life with loving parents, who didn’t care that he was a little slow, or that he was a confidant bisexual teenager. He had a cat named Peaches, and a little sister who he loved playing Barbies with. But most of all, he loved his boyfriend.
He and Kurt Hummel had been dating for almost a year now, and it was just getting better and better. Their relationship was a little awkward in the beginning, but eventually everything fell into place, and it was just perfect. Kurt was his best friend, his lover, his other half. His mom thought he was being silly. She said nobody found their soulmate at sixteen, but Brian knew he had. Kurt was perfect. They were both a little femme sometimes, but both of them were strong, and good athletes. But most of all, they got each other.
They filled in each others’ gaps. Brian was an idiot when it came to auto repair, but Kurt could fix Brian’s Jeep in a heartbeat. And Brian was always there to explain something in football or baseball when Kurt didn’t understand something his father said.
Maybe he woke up to find fag scrawled on his locker from time to time. Maybe he got hit with the occasional slushie in the hallway, and maybe he and Kurt had to plan their day to make sure their paths never intersected with David Karofsky or Azimio Adams in the hallway. But those things were small in the long run.
Brian knew who he was: a tall, thin, blond man with an amzaing boyfriend. He wasn’t too smart, but he wasn’t too dumb, and he enjoyed every day to the fullest.
Yeah, Brian Pierce’s life was pretty awesome.
