Yay I finally got a chance to actually read this and it's really, really good. I love what you chose to do with your prompt. It drives me crazy how, on the show at least, it's all or nothing for these kids; it's either get out of Lima or be a ~loser for the rest of their lives, like anything they accomplish if they stay in Lima is automatically void of any value at all. I love how you expressed Artie's conflict over that throughout the fic, especially when faced with that constant Lima Loser attitude from all of his friends. I love that it's a decision that he puts so much weight to and isn't because he ~~can't do anything else, it's because he wants to stay in Lima. Just, aaaah, I never thought I'd have so many feelings about Artie tbh. Bravo. ♥

Dude, I never thought I would have so many feelings about Artie, and I spent six weeks writing the damn thing. But yay, thank you - as someone who currently lives in a Lima-esque town (and tbf, has a little of the "Lima Loser" attitude herself), it really frustrates me that the show doesn't present any other options.
