Everyone in New Directions was afraid when Kurt fell on his knees, holding his head in his hands, mouth open in a silent scream. Some of them reached out to help, backing away in horror as every electromechanical device around started malfunctioning. All the jazz band's instruments were playing like crazy, cell phones went psycho, even cars in the parking lot revved their engines.
Kurt couldn't feel anything beside the lightning-white-hot pain squeezing his brain, and couldn't help but collapse and regain his breath in long gulps when it faded. What the hell happened?
He realized he was in trouble when everyone was at least ten feet from him, Rachel hiding behind Finn, who was trying to hide behind Blaine, who was staring at him gaping. They knew now. They knew he was a mutant.
Rachel, of course, was the first to speak something:
"Kurt... I think we might need an intervention to discuss your... problem."
He tried to be brave as he felt a single tear running down his cheek as everyone nodded in approval.
A/N: Inspired by the scene in which Mystique loses control of her powers and starts morphing randomly.
