All the pretty Blaine creys between Ohio and Boston

My exams are over! I can re-submerge myself in the warm gooey core of g_a! Feels gooood. I HAVE IMPORTANT QUESTION THO: I am aware of the general consensus on most of the Klaine BNFs. Aelora - cray cray, STS - brilliant (DO NOT ARGUE WITH ME), Joyful - OH DEAR GOD WHAT EVEN MY ETERNAL LULZ AT DR MIKE CHANG, Pyro - no, just no.
But, do we have a vibe on rm? Or am I the only one who JUST. CAN'T. STAND. IT. Why do many reviews? Why? How? YOUR BLAINE: IT IS A SELF INSERT. IT IS, LIKE, "MY IMMORTAL" LEVELS OF SELF INSERT. SO MUCH ANGST. SO MUCH WHINING.
Normally I'm all "you like what you like and THAT'S OKAY," but I really just needed to get this off my chest. I feel so alone. ALONE IN MY RM AMBIVALENCE. AND OVERUSE OF ALL-CAPS.

I've had g_a blocked with a Chrome extension for, like, a month during exams. SO MUCH WANK I HAVE MISSED. I don't think I'll properly recover. So yes, enthusiasm, I has it.

I'll bring the Boy Butter and we'll get our gooey core action happenin'. Will you groan under my ministrations? Whimper at the loss? Something something "the countertenor"? Yes?

That's it, whine for me, baby. Part those creamy thighs while I scissor my fingers inside your puckered hole. Was that your breath hitching in your throat? Yes, I thought so.
I've always wanted to write a fic consisting entirely of cliches created by virgins, but I think certain corners of fandom have already got that covered.

My favorite rm bit was when she called kurt a master of death for wearing dead animal brooches. I think the foxtail also was a clear sign of rib making him transgender somehow because coyote in native american mythology is bigendered or something.

My favourite bit is the intense gender issues that get projected onto everyone. Was it rm who kicked off that discussion about Blaine not being cisgendered? And now that Glee's hired a full-time Darren manscaper its clearly because Blaine's getting in touch with his gender feelings. (And nothing to do with how Darren's Chewbacca-like physique does not make him look like a 16 year old, and would also cause confusion during the upcoming Chewbacca episode).
IDK, I feel like, yes, there's interesting discussions to be had about gender presentation and passing and whatnot, but thinking that any of that stuff is actually intentional on RIB's part is laughable. YOU'RE ATTEMPTING A "DEEP" GENDER POLITICS ANALYSIS OF GLEE. GLEE. Glee would have a subplot about Puck chewing off his own balls to sing a Wicked song and bang Rachel if they thought it would move songs on iTunes.

lolol I had no idea she was projecting gender issues onto more than one character!
IA. there's clearly a good discussion to be had about those things, but trying to force glee to have a depth that it hasn't only confuses the actual ideas about gender that are being presented. iow, Kurt was wearing a foxtail because Lou eyrich knows they're trendy rn. period.

Oh god the Dalton as faerieland. I single that out because of this, also by her, re: warblers getting up on the French teacher's grill
Okay, so it wasn't just me that "Uptown Girl" had weird predatory stuff going on? I don't see that sort of thing around every corner, but with my preoccupation with Dalton as faerieland and faeries are bad/creepy/dangerous/wrong, I felt completely freaked out by it, aided, I think by the inside/outside sound mixing with the number, which was super nice.

I don't know what RM's deal is with predatory faeries, but I doubt that her reasoning is homophobic in nature. It probably has much more to do with faerie myth and some such thing about Dalton being a magical place.
