about America and Mercedes watching in the audience

Sophy says: I will never be okay with the Troubletones being okay. I don’t even think Santana should be in the musical. It was a Glee Club initiative funded by the Glee Club. She shouldn’t be able to just wantonly betray them (again!) and still be one of the gang (again!)

And Mercedes can smile in the audience all she likes. She’s still a dumb bitch.

There I said it.

(And I’ll say it again.)

Rin says: YES. Seriously. Why does she get to partake in the joy? YOU MADE YOUR DECISION TO WALK OUT ON THE SHOW. You weren’t EVEN RIGHT FOR MARIA. And yet???

they're two Faberry stans with ... interesting opininos. in addition to their thoughts on Mercedes, and LZ when she was on the show, they're HUGE fans of Will/Emma and think Darren is rly talented.

finn/rachel sex scene:

I also thought the corresponding Rachel/Finn scene that followed was nicely done. Except that I’m a bit twitchy at the whole ‘I don’t have big dreams like you’ angle. Are you trying to muscle in on Faberry’s plotline, Finn? ARE YOU??

on darren:

Sophy says: BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL. Can I just say that Darren Criss is a wonderful actor? And I’m not a stan. I’d never seen his Harry Potter thingy, and besides, I’m always too busy stanning for Lea Michele when it comes to Glee, so. My completely unbiased opinion is that the kid has serious talent, both in terms of the musical numbers and the straight acting. Um.

AND THE GAY ACTING :D

Never heard of these people, but I should have guessed they were Faberry shippers based on their intense hatred for Mercedes (then again, Kammers tend to have that same hatred, so).

Dear god, I didn't know they had come over from the Skins fandom. I would have been happy to have continued on not knowing. Their Naomi/Emily recaps were really try-hard and annoying.

one thing that really annoys me about them is how they have to finish every sentence with a question mark? like they aren't sure what they're saying? but Quinn/Rachel/Naomi/Emily/skinny girl is rly pretty tho?

Still being jerks about Mercedes, I see. They must be sad that Lauren isn't around to mock any longer.

I present to you ... taking a pot shot at Mercedes for no reason at all

Best Song

Blaine and Rachel - One Hand, One Heart

Sophy says: Yeah, Lea and Darren are particularly combustible together as performers. This is a fact we all know, and it is one of the many reasons why Artie’s whole spiel about the two of them lacking passion was so ridiculous. I loved that you were left at the end of the episodes thinking “Seriously? ‘Blah blah blah America’? That’s all we get?” and then Oh wait. The flashback is here to show us what we all knew - Artie is a fool, Blaine and Rachel are fabulous, and there is absolutely no reason why a virgin can’t knock sexual awakening out of the park.

And Lea’s voice when she hit that note? You know the one. It was like… clouds bursting into pretty soft silver rain. Honestly.

I think I know why Mercedes flounced the musical. No way she was ever going to be able to pull this shit off.

I can't even remember One Hand One Heart. It must have been bland. But America rocked my damn world. These people have horrible opinions.

Were they the ones that did the horrible Born This Way recap that was very obviously biased towards the pretty?

pretty sure that was them! something about how LZ shouldn't get to put her fatty arm around Quinn's flawless body? but more offensive.

Ugh. I hate centered text, so I'm doubly annoyed that I sought these two out.

Saying Mercedes isn't right to play the part of Maria = the most incredibly thinly-veiled racism. If we're going simply by race? Santana was the only one qualified to be in the play. On either side. Except maybe Kurt as Officer Kripke.

Mercedes has a beautiful, strong voice that's equally good at portraying emotion and really hitting the seats in the back of the audience. It could be argued that she was obviously a better choice for the role than Rachel, who had too many commitments on her plate and would have served better as the understudy.

So they should have staffed an entire production of West Side Story with the handful of kids they had left in the club? WSS: With Blaine and Rachel in challenging multiple roles!
