About half way through the episode now :D

Sugar/Artie/Rory is cute, Finchel remain believable idiots, and double standards are addressed. Nice.

It just keeps getting better.

Holy crap Karofsky/Nick, that can't end well:(

Rachel will seriously never be happy in a relationship where she has to treat her partner as an equal. She wants a doormat to earn her money, not a husband.

Santana trying to prove the double standard fell flat when they didn't sing on the school grounds.

I didn't find Rachel's dads endearing at all. They were horrible and manipulative and drew Burt and Carole into their mindgames instead of sitting the kids down and actually listening to their reasons. If they did that, maybe they'd finally have to pay attention to how broken and scared their children are instead of continuing to ignore it.

The God Squad thing was definitely forced, probably the weakest part of the episode.

Yeah, I don't know if it was just me and I know it probably wasn't what they were going for, but it almost felt like they were trying to excuse the homophobia that goes on in the church. I'm all for teaching the ignorant, not shrugging my shoulders and saying it's okay for you to be homophobic because you don't know any better.

Actually...I didn't get that feel at all. It seemed to me like the point they where trying to make was that Christianity's ideas do not stand in line with a literal interpretation of the bible. (Which by the way ALSO bans tattoos, so Teen Jesus had no place to talk)

Brian Stokes Mitchell is a black man, he just happens to be a rather light-skinned black man.

He's about the same skin tone as Barack Obama, actually. Check out this picture.

Re. Karofsky, he may have thought that Kurt and Blaine weren't going that strong, since the dialouge implied that the last time he saw them was at Scandals in The First Time, when Blaine was dancing with Sebastian.
