A/N: I hope this is okay.

Finn liked Saturdays; they were his favorite day of the week. It was his video game day. Sundays were family days and his mom, Carole, gave him crap when he played video games during family time. He settled in to shoot stuff on the PlayStation 3, scrolling through accounts to find his, when he noticed Kurt’s avatar was a girl. Curious, he pressed the button to log into Kurt’s account and went to his profile.

Finn leaned forward in shock; Kurt’s profile said he was female.

He didn’t get it. Kurt always got so defensive about getting called a girl, so why was he playing as a girl online? Finn’s eyes widened. Maybe Kurt was conflicted. Maybe all that teasing had gotten to him and now he wanted to be a girl. Finn felt like a horrible brother, he promised to protect Kurt and here he was, witnessing Kurt crumbling under the pressures of his peers. Finn frowned. He needed to stop hanging out with Rachel so much; her melodramatic tendencies seemed to be rubbing off on him.

Finn turned off the video game console and shuffled to his computer. He was going to help Kurt, but he needed to research first.

Kurt hummed as he went through the doorway. Shopping always put him in a good mood. “I’m home,” he called, dropping his keys on the table by the door. “Dad? Carole? Finn?”

“Mom and Burt are out. Come in here, Kurt.”

Kurt followed the sound of Finn’s voice. He found him in the living room sitting in the couch with a serious look on his face. “Everything okay there, Finn?”

“Have a seat, Kurt.”

“Oookay,” Kurt sat at the end of the couch.

“I know.” Finn’s serious face softened a little.

“You know what?” Kurt’s brow furrowed in confusion.

“That you want to be a girl.”

“Umm, excuse me?” Kurt’s eyebrows shot up, his expression settling into one of confusion.

“Your PS3 account. Anyway I just wanted to tell you it’s normal for teenagers to feel unsure of themselves-“

“Finn this really isn’t nec-“

“- and I just want you to know that if you do decide that your gender identity-“

“Finn, no seriously this is so not neede-“

“- is female then you know mom and Burt and I would be behind you one hundred percent-“

“Finn, seriously please stop talking.”

“You don’t have to be embarrassed, Kurt.”

“Oh you are so barking up the wrong tree.”

“What do you mean?” Finn didn’t know why Kurt was acting like this. He had done a lot of research and most of what he’d found on the internet said that people who were confused needed to know they were loved and supported to help them figure out who they were. Kurt should be thrilled that Finn was helping.

“Finn, my account is not female because I want to be a girl.”

“You don’t have to pretend, Kurt, I accept you.” Finn grinned, he was proud of himself for being such a good brother. “We’ll help you figure out ever-“

“My account is female because there are more clothing choices for girl avatars,” Kurt blurted out hastily, in hopes of getting Finn to stop talking now.

“…Really?”

“…Yeah, I promise.” Kurt sighed in relief, adding “but if I do ever question my gender identity I will be sure to let you know,” when Finn’s face frowned lightly.

“Promise?”

“I promise.” Kurt got up to leave before their exchange got any more awkward, “Oh, and Finn?”

“Yeah?”

“Thanks,” Kurt said, as he left the room.

Finn smiled, he was an awesome brother.

A/N: I hope this is what OP wanted. :)
