Karofsky comes clean to his family and they throw him out of their house. He goes to Kurt's house.

Love it! I will be so pleased if this happens in canon. I don't care if it's cliche. As far as cliches go, it's one of my very favorites.

I must be crazy critting something on a meme, but the way in which he was kicked out of his house felt a little unrealistic unless kicking him out was just a bluff. Parents that think of themselves as good, responsible adults generally go through some mental gymnastics to justify kicking their kid out of the house. Like, "Maybe you should go stay with ______ for a little while." so that they'll have something to soothe their concerns with at 2AM when they have absolutely zero clue where their kid is.

Otherwise, the "GTFO of my house!" moment is a little more emotionally charged. My own mother favored the throw something personal out the door and lock your kid out when they run to retrieve it method... until I wised up and started keeping a house key on my person at all times.

TL;DR. Sorry about that. Still really enjoyed the fic. I'm just nitpicky when it comes to family troubles in fictional

Thanks!

You may be crazy, but that's not a bad thing. I seriously appreciate the feedback on this -- I may either go back and revise a few paragraphs tomorrow or write a Burt-centric side story that helps to clarify Mrs. K's behavior.

(Also, yikes. D-: I thought my relationship with my birth mother was unhealthy. Hugs if you desire them!)
