Rachel, Kurt, success in the future

NYADA doesn't work out for Rachel the way she plans. It's hard work and she's not any teachers favorite. When she finally graduates she has little to show for it and struggles in the arts world. Eventually she decides to move back to Ohio. Not Lima, somewhere like Columbus. She lost touch with Kurt way back in her Sophmore year of college. Last she heard he was working at a coffee shop.

It's been like 10 years and as a treat to herself Rachel bought tickets to a Broadway show. At the airport she bumps into Kurt. They start talking and Rachel begins to lie about her life, thinking Kurt left New York as well. She says she's been in some off Broadway stuff and she's got a wonderful job and a great apartment. Kurt nods along but ends up cutting the conversation short.

During her stay she sees something, a billboard/magazine ad/ect that features Kurt. He's a big shot fashion designer that the stars are clamoring over. Angst and humiliation on her part because she knows Kurt knows she was lying. And it really hurts her to have turned out like her mother.
