But she doesn’t have a problem with it, not really. It’s just that… well, other people do. Aren’t things hard enough for the Glee Club, without their public displays? It was one thing when they kept it hidden, tucked away into the shadowed fringes of McKinley gossip. Now, though, when they kiss each other in public, seemingly oblivious to the jeers-
It’s not right, not at all. They should think of others. They have the option of being subtle, not like Kurt who’s practically a walking Pride Parade. They look straight, they act straight, they talk straight- unless they’re near each other. Isn’t that what every gay person wants, to be able to pass? She’s not, like, homophobic or anything- but that doesn’t mean that she wants to see two girls making out. They don’t have to flaunt it, shove it in everyone’s face. There are places for that, gay bars and… clubs, and stuff.
Mike comes over one day, looking murderous. He tells her about how the jocks are just getting worse, ragging on all the Glee football players about how their club is full of fags and dykes. He looks like he wants to go back in time and punch Azimio in the face, when he spits out the word dyke. She, on the other hand, fumes silently. Why does everyone else have to suffer for the fact that they insist on being so obvious? The Glee Club doesn’t care, she doesn’t care, but they’re not the entire world, and sometimes you have to consider the consequences.
The next day, Tina fills out a complaint form with a steady hand. She’s not homophobic, not even a little bit. She just thinks that they ought to have a little more respect, for everyone. There’s nothing wrong with that, right?

That's excellent! Few words, but the internalized prejudices and a whole lot of - unflattering, but not really unrealistic given the prompt's needs - Tina characterization! Loved it, very powerful!
