After that class, Kurt’s life goes on in a surprisingly normal way. He goes to school in the morning after picking up come coffee for him and Blaine, he goes to classes, gets the usual torments from the jocks, and goes to glee club after school. The lecture on abnormal psychology only lasted another two days and nothing more about homosexuality was mentioned, but still Kurt was nervous.
“Kurt,” Blaine asks two day after the lecture when he is pulled down a hallway in the opposite direction of their one and only class together, “why have you been acting so weird this week? Do you not want someone seeing us together, did I do something wrong, was someone bothering-“
“No Blaine, nothing is wrong, I’m just being cautious.” Kurt looked ashamed. He didn’t want to worry his boyfriend more than normal so he decided that he would keep his worries to himself. It was already stressful for Blaine to walk around the halls, getting the same hatred as Kurt, without having to worry about him too.
“What happened?”
Kurt looked around and led Blaine into the girls bathroom. He checked under the stalls to make sure no one was there before locking the door behind them. He crossed his arms, “In psychology this week we were talking about mental disorders and Mrs. Bartlow mentioned how homosexuality used to be considered a mental disorder. I was just trying to lay low of the jocks incase they got any ideas.”
Blaine pulled Kurt into his arms. “It’s okay babe, you know you have nothing to worry about-I’m the crazy one.”
Kurt laughed. “Oh so you are finally admitting that your crazy valentines day scheme last year to sex up the gap guy may have labeled you as psychotic?”
“Hey,” Blaine teased right back, “you know I have a thing for pretty hair.” With his arm wrapped around Kurt, Blaine scratched the nape of his neck where Kurt’s hairline ended knowing well that Kurt would be even more upset if his hair was ruined.
“Are you saying I have nice hair Anderson?” Kurt tilted his head down a little and let their noses touch.
“I love you so much, Kurt. There is nothing wrong with you and there is nothing seriously wrong with me. Just because someone mentioned it in class does not mean that the Neanderthals that lurk these hallways will pick up on it. “
“Why are you always so right about everything?” Kurt closed the space between their faces, gently pressing a kiss to Blaine’s lips. Blaine opened his mouth when Kurt swiped his tongue across his lips.
The bell rang and Kurt pulled away to break the kiss, but Blaine held him close, letting his lips linger across Kurt’s neck.
“Blaine,” Kurt whined, “we’re already late.”
“Exactly. Might as well take advantage of the time. If we’re going to be late already, what’s the difference of an extra few minutes?”
Kurt sighed, breathing in his boyfriend as he was pushed back into the sinks. “mmmm, I love the way you think.”
The door was being pulled continuously as someone tried to break into the bathroom. A girl screamed shrilly, “Stop fucking and let me pee!”
“Well that’s a mood killer,” Kurt sighed pushing Blaine away. You go hide in a stall and I’ll go let her in. No need for you to get mocked for being in the girls room. It’s normal for me.”
Kurt kissed Blaine on the cheek before closing the stall door. “See you later,” he smiled before Blaine heard the door unclick and somebody mutter “finally,” under her breath.
Blaine smiled when the girl ran into the stall next to him. He quickly stood up and left. Blaine’s heart contracted when he realized just how stressed Kurt had been that entire week, but luckily today was Thursday. As he walked to class, conveniently a few minutes behind Kurt, his mind schemed at way to un-stress his very wound up boyfriend. The teacher dismissed him quickly when he walked in, sending him to his seat, and he met Kurt’s eyes that blushed and smiled. Yes, that weekend Blaine planned to get rid of all Kurt’s fears.
