Klaine, kinky sex gone awry, h/c

One of the boys has a kink. Not a really big one or a really out there one, just something mild like softcore bondage or light roleplay or dirty talk. Nothing hardcore. But the other boy absolutely does not have this kink. In no way, shape, or form. In fact it kind of freaks them out a little, but when their partner brings it up, they're afraid that saying it bothers them might damage their relationship. So they just go along with it and it's not like the other boy was suggesting they do it right now anyway, right?

Then one night, a decent while after that conversation, it gets brought up again and the one with the kink really wants to try it. They do and well... It goes exactly as badly as you'd expect. The other freaks the fuck out and the worst part is, his boyfriend doesn't realize he's panicking at first. Of course, once he does realize, everything grinds to an instant halt and it's hugs, cuddles, and comforting time, but it's also time for a nice long talk about how you absolutely do not have to agree to do something you don't want to do just to make your partner happy.

I had an image of this with Blaine being into light bondage and Kurt being really uncomfortable at his hands being tied, then losing his shit over being gagged, but you could do this with really any kink and either boy doing the panicking. It's not really necessary to make the fic especially smutty. You can include it if you want and I sure won't complain, but I mostly want a story about how there are some kinks you're just never gonna be okay with.

Hi! Umm... so I was definitely inspired by this post - like, the second I read the prompt, a fully-formed fic kind of sprang into my brain. But it's different enough from your prompt that I want to check and see if you'd like me to post.

Basically the kink they try out is spanking; more specifically, using a belt(and the description of the spanking would be vague and minimalist, so if it's really not your thing, there won't be much detail). Blaine wants to try it, Kurt's nervous about it but agrees, and as it turns out - BIG-TIME NO. Kurt freaks out, has to use his safe-word - cue massive h/c and cuddling and all that.

I'm writing it either way, but would you like me to post it here?

Absolutely! I'd love to see it. That would actually be really interesting because coincidentally, spanking is one of my big 'oh god no' things. I could totally understand where Kurt's coming from.

This did deviate from the prompt a bit more than I'd intended but it sounds like what you were really hoping for was both the talk at the end (which they definitely have!) and them coming to the realization that there are some kinks you'll never embrace (which they do!)
