Dangerous Work - Sam (2x19 Spoilers)

So, I never really thought it this way, but I recently learned that working in Pizza Delivery is one of the Top 10 Most Dangerous Jobs in America. Drivers have to go to wherever they are called, completely unprotected, sometimes with large amounts of cash on them. Prank calls are sometimes used to set up muggings, during which drivers have been shot and killed for as little as $20.

I'm not sure the other Glee kids know that. I'm not sure Sam knows that.

So, this being the angst meme, I want him to find out. Firsthand.

In other words; Sam drives out to make a delivery to what he doesn't know is a house where no one actually lives in a fairly dangerous neighborhood. When he gets there, he is brutally beaten and robbed, possibly even left for dead. The muggers take his cell phone as well as his money and wallet, so he pretty much has no choice but to try and drive himself to the hospital, or drag himself to the door of a stranger and hope they are considerably nicer than the people who just robbed him.

Specifics up to the author. Angst all around, please. Angst for Sam, obviously, not just because of what happened to him, but because now there are medical bills to pay, and he is no longer bringing any income. Angst for the Older Evanses for (unintentionally) placing such a burden on their son without realizing what could happen to him. Angst for the Younger Evanses because; SAMMY! Angst for the Gleeks because, holy crap, Sam could have died.
