Ahh, the memories...
Mother Nature has remembered. It has been years since Mother Nature remembered to snow on my birthday. In my teens and early 20's it seemed like it happened all the time.
It is very pretty out there. Probably not so much fun to walk or drive in. The kids are going to hate me for sending them to the bus stop.
As for my birthday, I am making a nice dinner tonight of Beef Satay and a salad. I will probably make some noodles for the girls. I am saving my carbs for a bit of angelfood with strawberry ice cream and sweetened strawberries. Yum.
This year I don't have any problem cooking for myself. Other years I have insisted on going out. This year I wanted to eat in.

Edit: Dinner was great. I loved the salad, Bargeral and I loved the meat, the girls loved the noodles and everyone loved the cake. Just as expected.
They got me a very nice small decorative fountain. I really like it. Better than the new bathroom scale I asked for.
