Friends are relatives you make for yourself.
Chris has been out of town for the weekend (at a soccer tournament with Dad and Tyler - he helps coach) and I have been alternating between enjoying my time alone and missing him more than anything. It sucks at night because I have this issue where at 22 I still cannot sleep by myself. But I did alright last night and he'll be home tomorrow so I can deal.
Practicum is over and I cannot believe that I only have one year left and then I am completely finished. September 2009 I can be teaching. That is just crazy to me!! It seems so weird to think about where I have come from and where I am going. I am excited/scared for it. But for now I am going to enjoy my four months off and relax. Which I have been doing so far.
Chris and I have two additions to our family: a couple kitties we got from the SPCA. We decided that we really missed the company of a cat and went down the SPCA to look and found Moli and Rascal. We took them both because they are more timid cats and they really bonded with each other and the SPCA wanted them to go to an adult only home together. They are adjusting really well, and into everything of course. But they are so cute and fun, we are really enjoying them.
Well, I have laundry to finish and a book to read at the beach!
