How do I cram three weeks worth of junk into one entry? Seeing as my life is relatively uneventful, I'll just post it all! Muhahaha.
Chris and I went on a little camping getaway the first week of July. We stayed in Banff national park for two nights, then hoteled in Drumheller for a night, then a hotel in Edmonton for a night, and then two nights in Jasper national park to complete the trip. It was a wonderful time filled with breathtaking scenery, tons of wildlife, and just a nice getaway from everything. Plus, I got to see some of Alberta which I have not seen since I was 8 months old. The wildlife was just everywhere, and I think we saw something every day we were there, with the exception of the last day. We saw 7 black bears (one was a mama bear with three cubs), a grizzly bear, loads of big horn sheep, white-tailed deer, mule deer, elk and some Columbian ground squirrels. The shopping in West Edmonton Mall was fabulous and the Royal Tyrell museum was really cool! We both really enjoyed our time away, even if the cat was ridiculously stressed out by the time we got home. I think she is getting too old to be on her own for extended periods of time.
Started working at Sears again today. It was like I never left. I am a little nervous to be taking pictures again, but that ultimately fades away. I did it before and now I have all this wonderful Timmy's experience behind me, which has taught me to be more outgoing with other people. I think it will go alot better for me the second time around. I am planning on edging away from Tim's and getting back into Sears. I realized today that despite all my bitchings about it, I missed it. It felt good to be back. So hopefully that goes well for me.
