Wow Kelowna has been crazy hot for the last few days. I enjoy it, but having to work in the heat is not cool, because then my uniform sweats and it looks gross and I sweat, which is not cool. Everyone else is sweaty I guess, but it's still kinda sick. At least today I work 3-11 so I will only have to deal with the fucking sick weather for a couple of hours, as opposed to my whole shift.
I set the fire alarm off for the first time in my house today. I burnt the shit out of my sausage rolls. I was actually pretty impressed with myself. The only thing I felt bad about was the fact that the fire alarm also goes off upstairs too. Oh well, I guess if they can set it off at 5am then I am okay.
Had a fucking sweet work party on Wednesday. Cyrus, Natasha and I got smashed then went ot Pizza Hut for a staff party. It was really fun trying to hide how drunk I was from everyone. Thankfully the managers left early and then I could actually drink more beer. Then, much to the annoyance of Chris, about 7 or 8 of us headed back to my house for more drinkage and hanging out. The night is kind of a blur but I remember cuddling outside with Natasha and getting kissed lots. Whee, good times. And then I sprained Cyrus' finger because I didn't want him to leave. When I went back into the house I ran to bed so I wouldn't have to deal with Chris being very angry with me. Which he was, simply because I made a huge mess that he had to clean up. Oops, go me being a drunk and a bad girlfriend...it was still god damn fun though.
The cat is purring and being cute so I am going to go give her some loves.
