i am so sick of riding in the car.
today we went to mayo for my dad's grandma's birthday. that is the biggest bunch of rednecks you've ever seen. she lives like a block away from the church and her party was at the church so as we were driving up we saw my uncle and we picked him up to give him a ride. i was like "oh my you cant walk another 20 feet?" he was sitting behind me and grabbed me and started tickling the crap out of me. it was pretty cruel although funny. we got there and waited for food for like 30 minutes. then we ate. then they started a "sing" as they like to call it. basically its a bunch of rednecks who think they have talent getting up and singing in front of everyone. we only stayed for about 15 minutes of that then my parents were like "okay time to take madeline driving." it was quite an experience, to say the least. apparently when you stop you dont need to press down on the brake all at once. and you're supposed to keep your car on the road, not in the grass. oh and when another car is coming toward you, you're not supposed to freak out and drive into the ditch. these are all things i was not aware of. i did, however, pull off many 3-point turns. odd how i cant drive in a straight line but i can do that without a hitch. anyway we went back in and amateur night was still going strong so we left. then on the way home we stopped by uncle kenny's but he wasnt home so we just went straight home. when i got home i called becky because i saw that she had called and we talked for about 20 minutes. hopefully she can come over tomorrow, and if she cant maybe i can go over there or something. i wanna see her before school starts but most of this week i'm busy and it's the last week before school so that puts me in a bit of a time crunch. anyway i went to my imac in my room and found that i had accidentally left my AIM on all day without an away message or anything. people had IMed me and they were all getting mad because i wasnt answering. whoops, sorry guys! and chris, i emailed you like you requested. so now i'm sitting here and my internet has screwed up so i cant talk to anyone. i think i'm going to go fix it now.
