That was my reaction too. I got this off one of my friend's journals and jposted it here and at my own journal too. . And my friend says that this isn't a unique case.
I second that WTF. What the hell is wrong with people to just let something like that happen? I know cops can be crooked, but damn, that's a complete lack of empathy.. that's fucked up.
If I were them, I'd also get some of the diabetes education agencies in on the action--I am diabetic, and a person of atypical gender identity, and luckily none of this sort of shit has ever happened to me. I think I won't be visiting McDonald's anytime soon, and perhaps a boycott should be waged against them for this.

I am not saying that anyone is lying per se, yet, I can't help but wonder if this is legit. I mean the fact that she was beaten like that is not impossible yet rare. The compounding of that by the police not taking her side is even more odd to me especially if she is obviously covered in bruises. I also wonder what her friends were doing during all of this? It just plays out like a hoax and I hope it is found to be just that. Several things don't add up in my mind though I am guessing that there is either more to the story or in fact it is simply made up in some twisted jerks mind to spread a bit of fear. I truly hope I am correct or some ugly things are going to come the way of those people responsible.
