Guess what?!?!
I went to church on Sunday!!! It was the MCC in Newcastle which is completely gay friendly. I have never felt so welcomed and free in worship for a long time. The service was good, challenging and difficult as it felt like it was directed right at my heart. It was however an important step for me as I haven't been to church (other than when I'm visiting friends) for 3 years.
The downfall is that it is so far away and expensive to get to but Janine and I are going to aim for attending once a month at the moment. I am excited to get back onto my spiritual path, it has been far too long.
