First impressions of Montreal

The city of cyclists:

The city of festive debonair youth:

Who love putin:

This café resembled me San Francisco:

They say that cabaret offers both illusion and reality of high quality and on the second floor, there are the most spectacular and memorable transvestite shows in Montreal. It was interesting and unusual for me to see something like this in beginning of nineties, but now I am pass by this place and looking at nonprofessional girls:

Or this one:

Many of them. Maybe I have to write special post on the subject :) But let’s go further. I had no plan to be here, but the feet themselves have led me to Chinatown. Or maybe it was not feet but my nose and the smell of 餃子和肉汁? Who knows, I really was hungry:

I felt myself at home in this place, ate simple dim sum and went down to the St. Lawrence River:

Of course I made a lot of pics here but have no time to publish them now and should go up to Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel:

To be continued

downtown, montreal, eastcoast life
