Happy New Year to all of the community members! I know for some of you it is and has been January 1, 2011 for a few hours. For us here in America, it is still New Year's Eve. Hope everyone has/had a great end to the holiday season.
As of midnight last night, HSSS has posted announcements for a lot of GLAY's 2011 plans thus far!
To quote the site, GLAY will be going in a lot of directions in the new year!
Releases
-rare collectives vol. 3 & 4 to be released on 3/9/11!
vol. 3 First Press Special Edition will include 2 CDs and a DVD of the X-RATED 2004 tour
vol. 4 First Press Special Edition will include 2 CDs and a DVD of the Rock Shock Vol. 4 at
Shibuya O-East
- RATW Arena Tour in Saitama DVD to be released in 2011!
-Within the year GLAY plans to make all of their albums available for purchase on iTunes!
Lives
- "Live for Fans Born in Heisei" Special Live to be held January 20 at ZEPP TOKYO
- GLAY MOBILE Member Special Live to be held January 24 at ZEPP OSAKA
-EXPO 2011????? Rumors have been flying since the beginning of the RATW Arena tour that GLAY EXPO will happen in 2011, since TERU has been alluding to it in many MCs. It is looking more and more certain that it will indeed happen, but of course we will not know for sure until GLAY officially announces
It looks like instead of an EXPO, this year GLAY will have two fan club member-only lives on 7/30 and 7/31 at Makuhari Messe 9.10.11 Halls.
Last but not least, a special announcement will be made at 0:00 on 1/6 on HSSS
Maybe it will be about EXPO; maybe it will be about overseas tour dates...
All we can be sure of is that GLAY will continue to be extremely active in 2011!
