So a Tokyo court ruled in GLAY's favor on Thursday over the ownership of copyrights for 147 of their songs, and ordered Unlimited Group to pay 670 million yen back in royalties and unpaid contract fees.
I'm sure some of you guys remember all of those rumors swirling around in early '05 about this, and of course can't forget GLAY's lull in activity during that time. Seems like GLAY finally took the issue to court in '07 so it's great that this is finally settled. I honestly thought it was settled a long time ago so this news was kinda surprising for me lol. Congrats to them, though, I'm sure this is a huge weight off of their shoulders! I'm glad they finally own the rights to their songs as well, just as they should ♥
