Mirror, Mirror On the Wall (Day 11)

Dec 04, 2009 20:15

For once the Warden doesn't bother to gas or shock anyone into unconsciousness before he teleports them. One moment the prisoners are in the infirmary, another moment they are in a room filled with monitors. The monitors line the walls, surrounding you from every angle. The only light in the room is coming from the monitors themselves, although it ( Read more... )

Are we formerly guards now among the "normal" prisoners again?

Yes, unless stated otherwise you can assume all prisoners are together.

Soooooo... I hacked into your computer systems. Can I do what I want (like open all doors) or are there restrictions?

Bridget Jones - Confused. b_jones01 December 5 2009, 02:31:40 UTC
Bridget shuffled as she opened her eyes slowly. What the...? This wasn't her flat, or her mum's house. ''I must have drank more than I thought last night.'' She muttered to herself as she stood and looked around the crowded room. What was she wearing? It was horrible. And where had she ended up?
Holding her finger against the corner of her mouth, she walked to the monitors, that was odd, they seemed to be showing surveillance from various prisons. Why would Bridget be in a room watching prison surveillance? ''This is not good.'' She muttered, leaning against one of the monitors and looking around hoping to see someone she knew.

Didi wasn't too confused about ending up somewhere else. It was more normal for her than this new world of being limited by walls and doors. Not that she minded doing things the mortal way. That was the whole point of this exercise, after all. She wouldn't want to get too disconnected like Dream. Not with how much she tried to work with him on that.

Still, the new room was kinda creepy. She was used to knowing all about people's lives when she wasn't mortal, but this was totally different. The woman's reaction was a little odd though. It was still better than things had been in the cells. And this wasn't all that different from the infirmary. The lighting was pretty gloomy, but it wasn't really worth commenting on. So that probably meant... "Hi, are you new?"

Bridget looked over in the direction of the voice. Was she new? Did that mean some people had been here for a while?
''Yes.'' She answered, deciding that having only arrived today would probably make her new.

''Do you know where we are?'' She asked. If the other wasn't new, maybe she could tell bridget what was going on.

Well, that explained it. "Not sure about this room in particular, but the whole place is called Glaxcin prison." Didi figured it was probably pretty safe bet to say that they were still in Glaxcin. She might not have been here for very long yet, but it was long enough to figure out that much.

Sebastian tapped the glass of one of the screens. He could never get enough of how well the humans technology had evolved in this world, it was a fascinating thing really. Ever since coming into this prison he was able to bear witness to many things unknown to him; funny looking glass screens with moving pictures in them was not a thing he would have expected to see, let alone ones you could write on with the simple touch of some keys with words and numbers on it.

As he observed the screen before him with a close eye Sebastian took notice of the man right next to him. "What are you planning on doing with that?" He asked curiously as he looked at the screen the man was in front of.

Molly Hayes, finally waking up [open] bruiserprincess December 5 2009, 15:51:06 UTC
Molly finally managed to get her eyes open. Not that it really made that much difference, with it being so dark. The light from all those tvs wasn't helping very much at all. She didn't have any idea where she was.

"What's going on?" she asked with a yawn.

Yugi wandered around the new room...slightly overwhelmed.

"Man...I've never seen so many screens before...not even in Kaiba's blimp!"

He noticed the computers...and decided that after he was done wandering he was gong to use that request system he was told about earlier. Sai-kun might like to know so he could get a hold of a Go board.

But as he walked, he tripped over a set of legs and landed facefirst into the ground.

"owwwwwww...."

Oh great. She'd just woken up and now someone was lying on her legs. So much for being able to get up and see what was going on.

"Hey, do you mind?" Molly said crankily, without really thinking.

After a moment she remembered that he said ow. She should probably make sure he wasn't hurt. Even if it was his own fault for not watching where he was going. "Sorry, uh, are you okay?"

"Yeah...but I think my chin's a bit flatter..." Yugi moaned.

But upon noticing he was on top of a girl's legs...he flushed (without thinking about the age of the girl at all), and climbed off, spun around and bowed.

"Sorry! Sorry! I didn't mean to!"

At first he thought the sudden change was just part of his crashing from his morphine high. It was nearly all that was on his mind at the time: he felt like shit. His head was pounding and his heart felt like it was going to burst. Every time he moved his head swum and he had to close his eyes.

Not that he could move very much. Now that the analgesic had cleared his system, the pain from the damage Andros' friend had done to him hit full-force. His entire gut felt like it was being eaten from the inside out. The bleeding had slowed enough for him to be able to breathe without choking, though doing so was painful and his breaths still came in shallow little wheezes.

After a few minutes he realized that being in the odd computer room wasn't a mind trick of the morphine, but there wasn't much he could do to investigate it. He didn't particularly care to investigate it. He felt like death. He wanted to throw up, but the searing pain in his belly convinced him otherwise ( ... )

Not only was Lelouch feeling like he'd been hit by a truck and gutted, his self esteem had been dealt a hefty blow over the past day, and then his geass failed him. Again. His morale was fast sinking into the negatives.

This on top of the fact that morphine crashes make one dysphoric made him exceptionally grumpy.

He didn't know who it was or why he would care, but whoever was hovering over him was not welcome. Besides that he knew that nothing could be done to help him in this little enclosed room. The medical ward wasn't accessible.

His eyebrows pressed down and he grimaced without opening his eyes. He knew that speaking would hurt, so he made his reply quick. "Go away."
