This is kind of interesting. Someone made an email list, ldspring2006-list@cems.umn.edu, with a ton of UoM students on it. That person sent 3 spam messages and then everyone started sending messages back saying how they wanted to be off the list. One person tried the signoff command for listservs and now everyone is doing it.
The result? I got like 60 emails in like 5 hours, all of which have now been deleted.
Anyone else get this shit?
