Much thanks to Beth who told me about dead & divine. They are incredible.
I bought the Straylight Run cd this past week, and it's really good. Different from
what I expected. It's like coldplay mixed with not mother? and a little teeny bit of
taking back sunday. It's mostly poppy piano acoustic stuff, but still amazing. I
like it. Listen to it a of couple times, and you will to.
A really good song on it is "Tool sheds and hot tubs." It's an technoish-emo
song...and I love it to death. DEATH. Just how the words go, and how Michelle
sings it, the double hit hi-hat, I just can't sit there. I gotta dance! ...
Speaking of dancing, I can't. I kinda forgot to tell the wonderful girl that I'm
taking to winterball. Yes, "the wonderful girl" = Bria. Just in case you were
wondering.
ANYWAY. The talent show was fun. It was REALLY stressful when we got
there, but everything worked out well. And I'm glad for
