Pic Updates
Well, I said I would try to get some pics up about the bed and all. I'm rather disappointed too in the state of the house. I had hoped for Ma to come home to a tree that already had presents under it, a living room that you could move through without killing yourself.
The new bed. If I lay on it, on my chest, with one arm hanging over the side, my palm won't even reach the floor. And coooomfy!!! It's going to be nice with some nice fresh warm blankets on it tonight.
The idea here originally was to do a few before and after style photos. I'm almost embarrassed to try this, as I have no idea when the 'after' pictures will be ready. Here's a broader shot of my room. Uggh!
And finally, our Christmas tree for this year. Originally, I bought the tree so that I could have something to hang my collection of Star Wars Hallmark Ornaments on. It's grown to the point that there's hardly enough room for all of them any more. I also never know if someone is going to get me any of that year's ornaments, so I wait. Normally, I end up having to hope there's some still in stock after Christmas. So far, it's unadorned. I have a feeling it may stay that way this year. This is also the first thing that you see when entering the house. The tree is sitting on top of an aquarium. Yes, that's an aquarium. Tuckey picked it up dirt-cheap, but none of us know the first thing about large tanks like that.
Hopefully, the after picture will look sooo much better.
That's it for the pics. But that also shows (at least the shots in the bedroom) what I was doing up until 4 this morning.
