Firefly
If you haven't seen it already, do yourself a favor and watch at least an episode of Firefly. This series was cancelled by FOX before the first season ended. Sci-Fi picked it up late this summer so they could capitalize on the Serenity movie that came out on 9-30-05.
It was created by Jos Wheaton of Buffy fame. It's a good show, even if you don't really like sci-fi. You owe it to yourself to watch at least an episode of it.
