A plea for help...

Okay, guys, here's the thing. I've got to get some original work done or I'm...in trouble. With several people who keep me on task. The problem is, I've only got so many ideas lined up that I can fall back on (to be precise...two.) So I've decided to break open my notebook of random quotes and scraps of lines that I've just been collecting and post ( Read more... )

sunglasses that prevent you from seeing all the bad things in life--do they work? is it all in your head? what would life be like? and what does the desire to ignore the evil in the world say about humanity? This may be a stretch, but it sort of reminds me of this music video by Kenna: http://youtube.com/watch?v=owS1coeoWEc

It's a sad yet beautiful story with a powerful message.

there's a whole world that we miss because we don't have the imagination to see it Sounds like it could be some fantasy/science fiction tale where children can only experience this world and when the grow up, they can no longer do as they used to (LOL...Peter Pan-ish?)

hearing trains at night--the people in them, where are they going? Supernatural ghost story that is meant to have the main character take a journey, but ends up as being a personal journey?

confluence LOL...I think of laboratory-grown cells.

They're just words; they don't control us. Not anymore Futuristic setting where machines adopt human-like intelligence?

Or maybe a bittersweet story centered on love letters?

There is always a last time for everything Death story...someone giving up his life for a cause?

I dunno...some of these may sound cliche. Perhaps once I get some sleep, I can think a little better. Oh well. Have fun anyways!

NO, it was helpful! I like the idea with the train--I always find trains interesting, for some reason, even though I've never been on one. There are a lot of them near my house.

THANK YOU!
