"Well, I've Seen Black And I've Seen Blue..."
I just realized. I have not updated in a good while. I guess it's because I have been going through a whole restructuring phase. A lot has happened, though, so here we go.
Joseph went off swimmingly. I think that shows with the audience. They loved it. We sold out most weekends, and got standing ovations a lot. I loved that show. It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad that it's over. I got a lot closer to a lot of people I have worked with before, met some new fun people, lost a few friendships, and made one of the best friends I have ever had. I also got over some issues I have had with myself, and others. I can't say I miss the show, but I'm really glad I did it, I grew a lot because of it.
I auditioned for Pajama Game. Audition went great (according to others), callbacks went less than great because I made a stupid decision, got pissed off at myself, and walked off the stage. Even so, I got the part of The First Helper, which is good for me. It's not a huge role, by any means, but I'm having fun with it already and we have only had the first rehearsal. Plus, I don't have to wear a coconut bra or a grass skirt. :).
I got a job at Chilis. Finally. After being tossed back and forth between different jobs (Borders, Carrabas, Walgreens, CVS), and people being pissed off at me, I finally have some sort of steady income. The job is great. I'm loving it. I always told myself I wouldn't work in food again, but I think it was just Red Robin I had a problem with, Chilis is really amazing.
I haven't seen many of my friends recently, and I'm going to borrow a page out of Kenny's book and ask that if you think we have grown apart recently, or I have unfair to you friend-wise, just please talk to me about it. I don't mean to do that, it just seems that everyone is really busy right now and they don't have time to hang out with other people, so I don't bother to ask. It's not that I don't love you or I love you less. That's 100% not true, I still love everyone the same, I have just been really busy and so have you. Haha.
Plans for this summer are sketchy but they look like they will be amazing. A lot of Amber/Simon time (which makes me extremely happy considering Simon's bitch ass is leaving to go to Spain), a lot of road trips, a lot of random things are going on and I couldn't be
happier.
I didn't update my journal, because I felt no inclination to do so because I had no reason to update. I had nothing going on in my life, but expect many more entries from me! :).
I know I end a lot of entries with this but this time I really mean it.
Things are finally looking up! :).
