Suddenly, they'd become less than friends. She wasn't aware, but he was and that was the evidence to justify his action.

It was not, to him, a proof of pure love to set aside the life of the soul for desires that a human possess, not even when included in the instincts of survival. It's selfish.

Yes, it was really selfish - to deny the love of the Great Spirit is not something one can bare. He didn't even understand, I mean in the depth of his heart, how anyone can choose to make a decision based on something else. What's else than love?

When he came home that afternoon in the windiest of autumn, there was a telephone message on his machine.
When the message stopped he found himself using the wall as a back rest and possess a new feeling in his soul. He was sure he didn't feel that way when closing the front door - that message changed something inside of him. He wanted to talk to her - ask her why - but he couldn't now. He knew she had stepped out of his life, and he was sure that she didn't know it. This was just a phase for her. A new step, a realisation. A new goal. Why? Oh, he knew why - he knew the processes of the human mind, but she wasn't that way. She knew the truth. She knew the real love and the values of the universe. She knew it before he did - she was the one who had taught him!

If there's a single time for me when I should judge another person, that time would be now he thought but there was no urge in him to judge.

He just let her go.
