She was overwhelmed, it was too close, in fact, it felt like it had found its way in under her skin and she knew she had to get her mind off it to cool down. She can't lose control, it's not aloud.
By who? she could've asked to herself but she knew she had no defense except from running, if she found herself uncapable of giving an answer.
But yet the feeling was there inside of her and she knew - bitterly? frightned? - she wouldn't be able to get rid of it. But she could act like it wasn't there, pretend when she worked with him. She could pretend. Yes, that's the way it needed to be.
