scary night ahead...
I'm taking Lucas to one of the scariest places I can imagine for Halloween - a Southern Baptist church.
He picked out his costume - an evil wizard with a shiny skull mask and a sickle shaped like an alien from Aliens. The blade is a long piece of notched skull. I'm sure he'll be a hit. *ahem*
If I'd had more time and courage, I would have dressed him like Jesus and let him ride a stuffed dinosaur.
I'm ONLY subjecting myself to his because his "girlfriend" will be there. He's trick-or-treated in her neighborhood the last three years (fewer pit bulls) and it only seems fair to go see her since she's volunteering at the church's Halloween carnival. Even trick-or-treating in her neighborhood was a taste of things to come, with some people giving out as "treats" raffle tickets for a iPod if the kids come to Sunday School.
I *really* love my son - I'm missing Supernatural for this.
