I would love you to believe that's the reason for my update, but really.... I bought a paid account and I would be consumed with crippling pangs of buyer's remorse if I didn't make at least one post before it runs out in two months. I will say all of the things that you hear every time, the things that obviously keep you coming back for more. Here it goes: Work sucks, I don't like Bakersfield, the new Smashing Pumpkins album... ellipsis will have to suffice for now, I love and miss my family and friends back in Santa Barbara, I love Jason, I miss my mom, my dreams are weird, death is weird.
And there we have the most concise obligatory post from me to date! Sprinkle liberally with love for music and budding alcoholism.
I think I will write more about The Smashing Pumpkins later, after hammering my own confusions out and hopefully listening to some b-sides. What would this world be without b-sides? A mediocre commercial album, is what!
So, now a list of things. There were some really old books in my stuff... they are neat. I am getting healthy/in shape in preparation for a trip to Europe next year and it feels awesome, also it's hard to stand. I am considering taking up roller skating again. I want to plant a garden exclusively made up of vespertine flowers. Yes, I started smoking again. My dreams are really weird... and I want to start keeping track of them, perhaps via digital voice recorder? I am caught up in all kinds of tv shows that I probably shouldn't waste minute one on. Last weekend I drank too much and stayed up past dawn which was beautiful and amazing and reminded me of things never quite forgotten, also I stopped myself from being drunk at one point using the power of my mind (i.e. telekawhatsis?). I want more out of life. I love my family and miss my Grandma. I can't help repeating obligatory-list-stuff in the new-and-interesting-stuff-stuff. Maybe I should start posting my dreams to my LJ so you people have something to read from me. You don't like reading about other people's dreams, do you? I would try to take advantage of the "Create a Poll" option, offered to paid users like myself.. but it won't seem to work.
The point is, I don't care what you think. I might feel like posting my dreams, and if I do, I will, and you might or might not read them. Yep.
