Have you ever read design*sponge?
Every thursday the blogger (a WM alum!) puts up all of these furniture re-designs and I want to do something like that so bad. It looks like a lot of fun and you can really spruce up old less-than-desirable pieces like this one here.
I also have this itch to build/make things. I haven't had that feeling since I was in wood shop in middle school and built stage sets in highschool. I love putting things together, I like making things. I tried drawing for a while but I have no patience for learning how to draw properly so maybe I'll put that off for a while. I'm considering trying stencil making. We'll see.
