I know someone who lives there and lived there for a month. I loved the weather for that month, and I liked walking up in the hills. I liked being able to see Disney fireworks at night. It's only about six hours to Las Vegas, and...well, I like desert. I think the water situation's pretty tragic, but I still like desert.
OMG I totally forgot about Disneyland! How could I do that!? I love Disneyland!! I'm a desert person too and LA is far more desert-y than San Francisco. Plus Vegas is where some of my closest friends live *cough* and I might've done LA to Vegas in under four hours once or twice X3
Re. random question: San Fran. My brother lived in LA for about 10 years and I visited him several times - enough to know that its a fun place to visit but I'd never, ever want to live there. It's too big, too dirty, and too hostile. Also too warm.
San Francisco, OTOH - well, I only had a weekend there, but what a beautiful little city. My only gripes are the climate (humidity knocks me on my butt every time), the fact that it's, like, 6 feet above sea level (too... much... air!), and that whole earthquake thing. o_O
Of course, they're both waaaay too expensive, so. If I won the lottery, I'd try to buy one of the houses on the twisty street. XD
Oy on Lombard Street?? No amount of money would be sufficient to make me live there! You'd have tourists crawling up your walls at all hours of the night and day!! XDDD
I like both cities rather a lot - funny thing about San Francisco is that it would be the before-it-turns-to-snow version of the weather I already have! (and you too, a week later, yeah? lol jetstream) I'm ready for 365 days of nice sunny-ness please!
Haha, it's so awesome you brought a Puggle with you. XD Poor thing was probably so bored in your pocket most of the time. I hope the trade show went well! :D
Ooh, felting! :3 What will you make? Whatever it is, I already know it's going to be awesome. ♥
As for the question.. San Francisco. My friends talk about moving there a lot. Supposedly it's nice.
Heh, Puffscream (Starpuggle?) was face up in my purse, so every time I reached for my phone or a card, he'd be there all 'hello! :3333' So goofy. XD
I don't know! I'm staring at a pile of wool right now, waiting for inspiration to strike O_o
San Francisco is wonderful. It has all the awesomeness of a large city like New York or London but is super compact and accessible. LA, on the other hand, has a bigger airport and the weather is gorgeous *_*
