I'm already tired of this job-hunting process, and I've only completely finished one application, and am working on another two. Out of all the NICUs in Birmingham (there are 6, total), there is ONE staff nurse position open. ONE. And it's a flexi schedule, which basically tells me nothing...
I've applied for a position as a nurse educator at children's, and am in the process of applying for a clnical data position in the NICU at brookwood - but we'll see. I REFUSE to work with adults. Seriously. I will do pretty much any job with kids, if it comes down to it, but I WILL NOT work with adults. Because I'd really like, for once in our marriage, for Mark and I to be happy at the same time, wonder of wonders. We'll see...
Anyway, I've got to go figure out how to apply for an Alabama nursing license. That'll be a blast, I'm sure.
