(no subject)
today was my architectural drawing mid-term, which was of course a drawing mid-term. i drew the englemann field concession booth (which is of course a very hard structure to draw, seriously, any UWM student knows what I mean). i think i did very well.
another piece of interesting architecture news is that my drawing of a Le Corbusier building was top of the class. this is a 250+ student class mind you and we are also compared to senior students. i found this to be a little startling. my TA even commended me for my skill (he even gave me above average points for drawings i did that were late and incomplete!!! he was supposed to give me a zero for them!!!). so, i now know where i rank amongst the other students and i feel splendid that it is above them. my work IS getting noticed and that is something that will drive me further and farther than i had ever imagined going. i have found my calling and NOTHING will keep me from being what i want to be.
