Long time no see.
Shoot, I had even forgotten that I had this account. Tobatia inadvertantly reminded me that LJ even existed when she told me all the new things in her life could be found on HER LJ... and then I realized how many people I know on here, and thought maybe I should just get off my arse and actually use the account I've paid for.
So it's a beautifully muggy day here in Austin. Lots of rain over the last few days, and the grass and lake levels and aquifer levels are all glad of it. The mosquitoes are the happiest, I'm thinking, because not only do they have all that water to breed in, but they've got my bare legs to chew on. I'm quite sure I have West Nile, and it can only be cured by consuming beer, mexican food, and maybe some flan.
I'm going to a friend's house for brunchish stuff today, and will get to meet some new friends and re-aquint with old friends. How wonderful a day is that??
Lots of new stuff in MY life since I last wrote. Got a fantastic love that just keeps getting better and better each day. Got my personal trainer certification so I can work in a gym or (hopefully) in a wellness program for a corporation or public health entity. Got plans for relocating to DC as soon as the opportunity and timing present themselves.
Oops... time is marching on. I'll try to be more consistent here. Any requests?? lol
