God, I'm awesome.
Went see a show last night in Mt. Clemons. The line up was Hobbs Device, Frail, someother band who's name I don't remember, PRESENSE, another band whos name I don't remember, and Grinder (Darren McCarty's band, you know, the Detroit Red Wing?).
Anywho. Hobbs Device was pretty solid for a "hardcore" rock band. I met with the bass player afterwards and we exchanged numbers so that I might be able to hook them up with shows on the west side of the state. They gave me some free shirts and bought me a beer. cool guys.
I talked with my friends from Frail before the show and told them I'd really like to hear them play their song "Solutions". Well when they got to it they pointed me out and were like "this song is for this motherfucker right here". I was stoked.
Then Presence went on. God damn are they a good stage show. I was the only one rocking out infront of the stage though. Then the co-owner Roni came out and started rockin with me, and then people just rushed the stage. I don't think I rocked out any harder ever before. Not only that but Jay (the lead singer) put the mic in my face and I got to sing a bit of the chorus on one of their songs. I'm a golden fucking god. I got to chill with the guys after the show and it was a good fucking night all in all.
I got some nods from some people who think I'm going to be a good future investment and I made even more friends while rocking out and getting wasted. Life is good, I'm good. Peace bitches!
