and another 2 months slipped on by
so it's pretty much been exactly 2 months since my last entry...a ton of shit has happened since that last one...none more notable than the other, so it's hard to choose what to say...
basically, the long and short of it is that i quit one job about two weeks ago...still only have one because red robin just isn't working out...and the only real reason for that is the amount of time i have to put in to training there and actually getting on the floor is not going to be worth the pay off..because they're gonna put me in a shitty ass section until god knows when..and until then i'll be making 30-40 bucks a shift...which sucks...i need more money...
but that's an odd statement considering i don't have any money now...but i think the biggest underlying reason is that i just don't want to be a server anymore...the money can be good at times, but i think i'm just done...so, needless to say, i still need a new job...ugh..i hate job-hunting..
as i had said all along, october was a month of change for john, but not in the way i had hoped it would be...and with yet another holiday season rapidly approaching, the prospect of moving back to the east coast is becoming more and more tantalizing. who knows, though....i need consistency...there really hasn't been any since i graduated...i need to feel secure..and i know that will come with time, but it's been time enough...
soon, this WILL all change..with the knowledge that i have now and the tools i've gained in the past couple weeks, i know that something will come up..whether it'll be another restaurant job or me moving back to massachusetts...it WILL change....
