Nikki watches as the man from a few tables over approaches her.
The distance between them isn’t long, but Nikki uses this time to her advantage and trails her eyes up and down his body.
He’s confident, his stride suggesting he’s everything people think of him as, and he knows it.
She smirks lightly; Nikki knows exactly how to deal with people like him.
Her eyes follow him as he drops into the seat across from her.
His eyebrow arches. “On the prowl tonight?”
She shrugs. “No one’s interesting enough.”
His eyes take on a mischievous glint. “How about now?”
