I was released from the clinic today--I'm not completely healed, of course, but I'm well enough that I no longer require medical supervision. Really, I'm feeling much better, and I look forward to getting back to work.
I can't help but feel slightly embarrassed over it, but... to be perfectly frank, my apartment no longer feels safe. Even if he weren't still on the loose, I no longer feel comfortable in my home. I plan to be staying in a hotel for a short while as I look for a new place to live, so in case you'd like to visit, I won't be at my old apartment anymore.
I thank everyone for their kind words and for visiting me while I was in the hospital--really, I don't have the words to show how much I truly did appreciate your company. I hope you're all well.
