Loved it again! Poor Tunnel Rat, at this point I'm half expecting a break-down soon.
Also, out of curiosity, how do you think they'd have reacted to each other afterwards if they'd been together during the time of the Brothers of Light episode?
Thank you! Hm, he does seem a bit on the verge, doesn't he? I'm wrestling with how porny I'm comfortable going on the Anomaly ep-related fic I've been working on... it sort of spiraled out of control from a 'oops, better apologize for a few things' little ficlet into a long thing.
Oh man, I've been thinking about that... Mostly I just thought the end was cute as it was, with the others scoffing at TR's 'excuse you, I just saved everybody!' mini-rant (but Roadblock taking his side a little bit, aww), but yeah... I think there would be some 'I am so sorry I got brainwashed and attacked you! I'd never forgive myself if I actually hurt you!' vs. 'I am so glad you are back to being you! Do you have any idea how freaked out I was when you were all cult-y?! We are both so lucky I'm paranoid!'. And then, optimally, relieved post-danger sex, provided they could get away from the group...
If his nerves were just that much tighter, they could be used a violin strings. Yeah, I've dealt with that before. Rereading your old stuff to regain the feel of the fic could help with that, it usually does with me. Also, I'm fine with porny, just saying! Hee.
Yep, that was cute and a little odd when RB made that comment, like he'd had more than one argument with TR about the same thing previously, but off-screen. Yep, that sounds about right, though with the way the team seems to swarm about, it'd be more like relieved post-danger snuggling with some kisses before one or both of them got called for something.
Heh heh... yeah, it seems to be headed in the porny direction.
I know! It was this very fond sort of 'let him win this one or we'll never hear the end of it'. I squeed.
True, the whole team tends to really pull in together after a crisis, and that was the one where they really started to feel most like a family afterward, going from 'I can't stand putting up with you people' to 'I'm glad we're all in this together, we could be a really tight team' with a very sibling-esque kind of bickering.
Not that they have much of an ability to spread themselves out if they wanted the privacy... But yeah. I would at least be able to see them as totally-glued-to-each-other for a good while after that episode.
At some point, maybe I'll go back and write some pre-slash ep-related emotional reactions, for that and for 'Rage', which I imagine as being the episode where they realize that they have feelings for each other...
Hee, same here! Though it made me wonder what else they'd bickered about for RB to get like that. It's canon that they fight about music at least, but what else? *might be thinking on this too hard*
They did seem more together after that episode and besides, with so few of them there, they probably went out in pairs anyway for protection. Only exception being Snake Eyes.
I'd love to read them if you do! Rage would be an awesome episode for at least RB to realize his feelings, if not both of them.
Also, apparently in episode 23, they're going to bring in Roadblock's cousin, codenamed Heavy Duty! That's gonna be awkward.
There's no such thing as thinking about it too hard! Or, if there is, I am also guilty of doing so...
I think Rage was when I realized I 'shipped it like I was FedEx... I guess when I run out of new episodes to write ep-related fic about, I can go back in time and write pre-slash. Or write wholly imagined hiatus adventures. Well, eventually I'll do both, I'm sure.
I am so excited about 23! They already hinted at bringing in Roadblock's cousin-- or at least, they mentioned him in Knockoffs as being the only guy he knew who had the same shoe size. Still no telling if he'll be immediately helpful like TR's brother was, or if he'll be suspicious/overly-law-abiding like Duke's in Homecoming...
Same here, it seems like that was the trigger episode for a lot of RoadRat fans. At least the ones that are coming forward about it. I'd love to read it all, if you don't mind!
Well, the episode summary I found said he was being brought in by Flint to help in the investigation, so law-abiding seems the strongest right now, but who can really be sure?
22 seems like it completely focuses on Snake Eyes and Scarlett, but I'm okay with that. Apparently it's the mission they were on in episode 21.
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if he really sides with Flint, or if he helps Lady Jaye out with undermining the manhunt...
I am curious as to what Snake Eyes and Scarlett got up to while the boys were playing in the sewers. Mostly just, like, thrilled to have two solid-sounding episodes in a row to look forward to.

The episode summary made it sound like they were doing their usual sneaking about, trying to get evidence on Cobra to use.
