Monetary goal for savings is fulfilled! I now have a not inadequate amount of money to help pay for future Masters Degree of something! I am pleased.
Now just for a new job. One that has stable pay. This month they've scheduled me for 9 days, which is about half of what I usually get. Which means half as much money, and I can't pay rent off of unreliable money. I really wouldn't want to dip into my savings to pay rent because my job sucks and suddenly I have a month where I hardly work. But since I'm living at home still I can afford to keep looking for a job that I won't completely hate.
Also in the news, we went to San Francisco last weekend, and it was beautiful and the weather was so good, and there was only a little trouble with our hostel reservation. But man, the 14-hour drive was not nice.
Also, I love sourdough bread. They had bread in silly shapes- I got my dad the one shaped like a turtle, but they also had: lobster, bunny, teddy bear, and miniature ones. And probably a few others, too.
Also, the refrigerator has ceased to refrige things, so we've got a new one coming in on Saturday. I had no idea how expensive refrigerators are. $2000, as it is. At least for this new one. But it gives us a reason to eat all our frozen food and such. Yummy strawberry smoothie for me!
