Jenn's Plan Is Getting Under Way, Finally
I've got a job! Hooray! But its at night, and my first night is going to be 10 hours long. Sad. But it pays $11.50 an hour, and is only four nights a week. Hooray! But its going to totally mess my biological time up, or whatever its called. Sad. But I get to start making money, and once I have enough I can look for another job and quit. Hooray!
I'm also planning on doing a lot of volunteering during the next several months, and taking free computer classes at the library, so hopefully that combination of things will make me more employable in the sort of field I'd like to work in. And then I can be happier and move out and then live happily ever after, right?
I'd totally love to have an office job. I reorganised my desk drawers last night, and I loved it. And I clean my desk off, and dusted my room, and I loved that, too. And I wrote up a Career Plan for the next year and posted it on my wall so I see it every day and remind myself to volunteer a lot and talk to lots of people and find out more about what I might want to do for the rest of my life.
